Trick-or-Treat

Happy Halloween! 

Heather made Emmy's flower costume, and it turned out super cute!  Emmy immediately started twirling whenever she put it on.

 

 

The girls had a lot of fun trick-of-treating at EVERY house on our side of the neighborhood.

We tried, without much success, to control the candy in-take at 8pm.

Carving & Decorating

Reese LOVED carving pumpkins this year.  Emmy didn't like the slime, so she watched her sister and ate chocolate instead.

 

Sea Life

Reese and her class took a field trip to Sea Life at the Mall of America.  It was a great trip where the kids learned a lot and had fun!

Halloween Party

We put on our costumes (selected by Reese again this year): bumblebees, beekeeper, and a flower...

And went to the annual Halloween party at Reese's school.

Ed tried to take a family picture, but cut us off a bit.  :)

We danced, danced, danced, and had a great time.

Life Coach

Today I overheard Reese in the other room telling her sister, "Emmy, did you know every day you do big things?  That's a good girl!  I bet you didn't know, but you can do big things!"  My heart was bursting with pride listening to them.  I had to write this on Facebook, and I loved Grandma Cipra's comment that it sounds like Emmy has a life coach.

Urgent Care

We spent the evening at Urgent Care, and all 3 of us girls have strep.  Good times.

Oktoberfest

We had fun at the Warren's Oktoberfest party!  Thanks, guys!

3am

Emmy is in a routine where she wakes up and wants to play around 3am.  I give in pretty quickly because I don't want her to wake up Reese... plus she is still adorable, even at 3am.
