Jumping Around

Reese has turned into an outside girl. She loves to be outside on her swing, glider, and new favorite toy - the jumperoo! She jumps around or just hangs out looking at the woods & flowers.

Golf

I spent the afternoon with my dad at the 3M Golf Championship, but we took a few golf photos with Reese before we left. Grandpa Cipra can't wait until Reese is old enough to swing a club!

Kisses for Mommy

When I come home from work every day, Reese likes to snuggle and chew on my chin. I think it's her way of kissing me and telling me she missed me... either that, or she's just hungry. :)

Happy Birthday Liam

Happy birthday to Liam! Reese attended Liam Nelson's 1st birthday party today. She enjoyed watching all the kids and playing with their toys. She was also very interested as Liam ate his birthday cake. She can't wait until it's her turn. Yum!

5 Months Old

Reese turned 5 months old today. She now weighs 14 pounds (40th percentile) and is 25 inches long (60th percentile). She seemed to take her 40th percentile weight as a challenge and ate two bowls of rice cereal this evening. She kept opening her mouth for more and more!

Happy 4th of July

Reese celebrated Independence Day by attending a parade, then hanging out at the lake with the Haag family. She got a lot of fresh air and very few naps! I think we'll skip the fireworks and all go to bed early. My how things change when you have a baby!

Bikini

"She wore an itsy bitsy teenie weenie... bikini!" First we had a little photo shoot, then Reese went in the hot tub with Daddy for the first time. Don't worry, the water was just 98 degrees and we only dipped her feet in for a few minutes. She really liked watching the lights and bubbles!

Cruisin'

Reese was cruisin' around in her new Jeep this morning. Her first set of wheels! Her feet don't quite reach the floor yet, so we push her around the kitchen. She loves to look around and grab the steering wheel which has a horn and plays music. Daddy bought this for Reese yesterday because she enjoyed it in the store and we had a coupon -- Daddy can't resist a good deal!

Bedtime Routine

We have tried to establish a bedtime routine for Reese, but it isn't working very well. Her bedtime routine consists of putting on her pajamas, reading her "Night Night Prayer" book, and drinking a bottle. She was wide awake after her bedtime routine last night, so she hung out with Daddy. They watched baseball, examined a Gatorade bottle, and played until 11pm.
