Sitting Up

Our big girl is learing how to sit up on her own! She still leans forward a lot, but can sit like that for almost a minute.

Game Night

We enjoyed game night with our friends Bryan and Ashly. Reese liked looking at the cards and watching us make fools of ourselves playing the game Hoopla. Good times!

Grocery Shopping

Reese pick up her baby doll and purse before heading out the door to go grocery shopping. We brought dinner to Uncle Troy and Cousin Brayden because Aunt Tammy is in India for work for a month!

Tunes

Reese loves here Bible songs CD. She likes to lay on her tummy, watch the lights on the stereo, and listen to the music. She especially likes it when Daddy joins her!

Sweet Potatoes

Reese loves eating rice cereal, so we decided to try some other foods this week.

First we tried sweet peas, but she cringed and acted like they tasted sour. I quickly switched back to rice cereal after a few bites of peas. Little miss smarty had to peak into the bowl to make sure it was her white cereal instead of green peas, only then she would open her mouth to eat more. She is getting too smart!

We tried sweet potatoes later in the week. Reese still cringed, but opened her mouth just a little bit so we could take a few more bites. Obviously she's not a fan of her vegetables yet, so we'll wait a few weeks and try again.

Pedicure

I decided I deserved a pedicure tonight. I haven't had one for 3 years, get very little sleep, and gave birth for goodness sake! So, Reese, Grandma Cipra, and I went to the salon. Reese loved watching the action. She was especially amazed by the exfoliating process. Maybe Reese will get her own pedicure next time I go -- in another 3 years.

Sleep Eating

Poor Reese... she has fallen asleep while eating the last two nights. It's so funny! The craziest part is she keeps her eyes closed, starts "singing", and continues eating spoonfuls while sleeping. Eating must be really exhausting or really boring!

Daddy and Me

For Father's Day, I gave Todd a photo shoot of just him and his little girl. Our friend Erika, who is just starting her own photography business, took the pictures on Saturday at our house. Erika sent us a sample collage today, and I think the pictures turned out great!

Stuffing

Daddy fed Reese her rice cereal tonight. After the stuffing (she ate twice the amount she normally does!), I immediately took Reese up to the bathtub while Daddy hosed down the highchair.

Como Zoo

We went to the Como Zoo today where Reese saw her first baby giraffe (so cute!), tiger, and more. We only lasted an hour, but it was a successful outing. We saw lots of animals and avoided a sunburn!
