Happy Half Birthday

Happy half birthday to Reese! I can't believe our baby is already 6 months old! She now weighs 14lbs 12oz and is 25 inches long. It has been a fun, crazy 6 months and we can't wait to see what the next 6 months brings.

Her normal baby-sitters (Grandma Cipra and Heather) had conflicts, so Reese spent the day with Daddy and Grandma Haag while I was at work. I came home to find Reese in an outfit that didn't exactly match, but she was happy and had a great day!

Thumb

Reese loves her thumb.. It (along with everything else these days) is often in her mouth!

Party Crashers

We accidentally crashed a party today. We decided to go for a walk at Lake Rebecca Park Reserve and wound up at a church picnic. There were lots of people there, and we just tried to blend in. Of course Reese is a people magnet, so some people came over and talked to us. We did fess up and leave the party... after we played a few games.

Road Trip

Reese and I took a road trip to LaCrosse on Friday to meet some friends from high school. We had 4 ladies and 3 babies in 2 hotel rooms... and we survived! It was great to see Emmy & Braden (6 months), Kristi & Luca (2 months), and Colby. We had a good time meeting each other's babies and reminiscing about our high school days. I'm so thankful for great friends!

Peyton

We spent the day with cousin Peyton. We went to lunch at McDonalds, watched the movie "Tale of Despereaux", and went to the orthodontist. Peyton's orthodontist is much cooler than mine was 15 years ago. They had free video games in the reception area!

Menards

"Save big money. You save big money. When you shop Menards." I can't get that jingle out of my head.

We went to Menards where Reese helped us select materials for an improvement project at the cabin. Daddy put her on her tummy in her car seat so she could see the action. She loved it and people laughed as they saw us coming down the aisle.

Sorry the pictures aren't the best quality. They were taken on my cell phone. I have to remember to bring my camera everywhere because you never know when you will have a good photo opp!

Cabela's

Reese took her first trip to Cabela's today with Grandma & Grandpa Cipra. She enjoyed looking at the fish and was impressed with the moose. More proof Reese loves the outdoors.

Head of the Table

Reese was at the head of the table when we ate dinner tonight. If there would have been a turkey, she would have carved it.

Just Cute

I finally had a chance to update the blog from this past week. It's been a busy week! I back dated the posts, so look all the way back to last Wednesday for new pictures.
