This Week's Funnies

A few funny things Reese said this week...

We heard a garbage truck outside, and this was our conversation:
Mommy: What is that?
Reese: It might be a cow.
M: I don't think it sounds like a cow.
R: Well, it might be a moose. Let's go see!

We were playing with some stuffed animal dogs. Reese decided to name them "Phil" and "Bill". Where does she come up with these names?

Reese had a little melt down, I don't even remember what it was about. After a few minutes she told me, "I was so sad. I cried like a baby."

We had to take Libby to the vet because she was constantly scratching part of her ear. As the vet was examining Libby, Reese told the vet, "I have a bug in my ear too" and kept scratching her ear. After the appointment, Reese told Libby in the car ride home, "I'm proud of you Libby." So sweet.

Music in the Park

We attended our first Music in the Park event this season.. Reese had fun listening to music, eating free food, and playing on the playground equipment.

Happy Birthday Grandpa

We want to wish Grandpa Cipra a very happy 60th birthday! His birthday was yesterday, but we celebrated together today with a trip to a great place called Pinstripes. We all had fun playing bocce ball, bowling (Reese's first time and she looked adorable in her little bowling shoes), and eating yummy food. The only mishap was Grandpa dropped his cake! Oh well, it still tasted delicious.

Morning Play

Reese had fun playing at home this morning. She told me, "I like home". She kept busy by baking Daddy a cake in her little kitchen set and painting pictures that we think are priceless.

Moose

Reese has gotten into a really bad habit of waking up about 6 hours after going to bed, saying her tummy hurts, going to the bathroom, and eating a snack in bed for about an hour before going back to sleep. When I ask her why she wakes up, she consistently tells me, "The moose wakes me up, Mommy." We'll I'm going to have to do something about that moose. Wait, what moose?!?!

Playdate at Kara's

I'm loving our new Thursday Luther playdate routine. Today we were at Kara'a house, and the kids had a great time! Correne captured pictures of some of the kids -- Abby, Liam, Henry, and Reese. We'll have to try to do a big group picture next time to see all of the cuties.

Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th of July! We had a fun day with Grandma and Grandpa Haag at the Annandale parade and relaxing at the lake.

Reese & Kaija

We had a fun evening at our neighbors' house. Reese and Kaija (3 1/2 years) had wore each other out running around all night!

Building Towers

I had to go into work today, so Daddy and Reese went to the lake. Reese had a great time building towers/castles with Grandma and chasing Grandpa!

Freezie Party

Here's a cute picture Heather sent me from Wednesday. The girls had a freezie party in the heat! No surprise Reese picked a green freezie - her favorite flavor popsicle.
