Talking, Talking

Emmy says more than 50 words, which is amazing for a 15-month-old. , We've been trying to write them down, so here's the latest list of new words.  Her vocabulary is exploding!  Good girl!
  • Reese (no longer Ra Ra or Eese like she used to say)
  • Libby (no longer Libba like she used to say)
  • Grandma
  • Grandpa
  • MINE!
  • Door
  • Butt (as in her buns and also the word she uses for button)
  • Wash
  • Watch
  • Owie
  • Noooooooo
  • No, no, no!
  • Yeah
  • Wawa (for water)
  • Nurse
  • Down
  • Up
  • Open
  • Hi
  • Bye-bye
  • Num num
  • Hot
  • Burr
  • Bubble (when she wants Grandma to blow her a bubble with her gum)
  • Hi
  • Uh oh!
  • Duck
  • Minnie (as in Mouse)
  • Dora
  • Boots
  • Louie
  • Hat
  • Out
  • Wake Up
  • Tag (said when chasing Reese around)
  • Kitty
  • Pup
  • Snowman
  • Belly button
  • Eyes
  • Nose
  • Mouth
  • Night, night, wake up (Emmy does this to be silly.  I admit it's hard to understand, unless you know what she's doing)
  • Elmo (usually said when she wants to watch something on the iPad)
  • Ball
  • Shoes
  • Poop
  • Pee pee
  • Bottle
Emmy also said her first sentence this week.  I was trying to distract her with a toy as Daddy was leaving for work.  She did not buy the distraction and said, "No, mama do it!"
