After spending hundreds of hours volunteering on this event, I'm happy to report that it was a huge success. From games to the dessert dash to the live auction, everyone had a great time and we raised lots of money (final number TBD). And now I'm ready to return to my normal life... and the girls are ready to have their mom back as they keep staying, "Ugh, I'm so sick of the gala."
The dessert dash was a highlight of the evening. One table donated $1400 to be able to select their dessert first.

At the live auction, we purchased this platter made by the Kindergarten class and FOSS swimming lessons. Grandma & Grandpa purchased the original eagle painting by our relative Chandler.
