Halloween in the Neighborhood

We made it back from South Carolina in time to celebrate Halloween at home. Reese made a few trick-or-treat stops on our street, but seemed just as entertained by handing out treats to the kids who came to our door. She also enjoyed sampling many sweet treats throughout the night.

Go Gamecocks

We attended the University of South Carolina football game vs. Tennessee. SEC football games are quite the experience - the fans are crazy! Reese was a trooper sitting through 3 quarters, eating popcorn (her new favorite snack), and meeting some new friends. She was exhausted on the shuttle ride home, so fell asleep in Daddy's arms. Daddy then had to carry her 3 blocks back to the hotel where she immediately woke up ready to party again.

Boo at the Zoo

We pretended we were Columbia locals tonight by attending Boo at the Zoo. Reese had fun doing a little pre-trick-or-treating and riding a carousel for the first time. (Sorry for the poor picture quality - I only had my camera phone along.)

Relaxation

Enjoying a few snacks while relaxing in the hotel room. This is what vacation is all about.

EdVenture

While in Columbia, we found a wonderful children's museum called EdVenture. Reese had a blast checking out all the interactive exhibits.

Bed Head

We were wiped out after our big day of travel, so all slept for 12 hours straight last night. Reese woke up happy, but with severe bed head!

Jet Set

Mommy went to Columbia, SC for work, and was later joined by Reese and Daddy. Daddy must have a magic touch because Reese never fussed and slept most of the plane trip. I took this picture as I pulled up to pick the two of them up at the airport - both as happy as could be.

Lovin' Libby

Reese seems to have inherited Daddy and Mommy's love of animals. She just loves her kitty and the two spend most of their days together. Whenever we're away from home, Reese says, "I miss Libby" and wants to know who's taking care of her.

Road Trip to St. Louis

Grandma and Grandpa Cipra drove to St. Louis to attend a wedding. So, Reese and Mommy caught a ride to visit Luther friends Laura and Brian, 2-year-old Lexi, and 1-month-old Conner. We had a fun day just hanging out, then the kids wore Halloween costumes to a "truck or treat" event at their church. They were the cutest little skunk, vampire, and giraffe ever! Reese wishes St. Louis was closer so she could hang-out with Lexi and Conner more often.

Apple Jack

We went to Apple Jack Orchard today with Tammy, Peyton, and Brayden. The cousins had a great time hanging out together.

Good Shot

Cute video of Reese and Daddy shooting baskets while Mommy was out to dinner with friends. Looks like they had a good time together!

Music Class

Reese and Grandma attend "Music Together" class every Tuesday morning. Reese's favorite part of the class is the the opportunity to play musical instruments. Also, Reese seems to really like her teacher Jackie. She recently received a new little doll and, when I asked her what we should call the doll, she thought for a minute, then said "Jackie!".

NFL Afternoon

Reese and Daddy watched the NFL games this afternoon. During Reese's snack, Daddy positioned her in front of the TV so they would not miss a single play. Reese seemed to enjoy the games and would yell "Go, go, go!" "Run!" "Pass ball!". During commercial breaks, Reese would play with something else, but keep a close eye on the TV and yell "Dada, it's on!" when the game came back on. A fun Daddy/Daughter afternoon.

Betty Crocker

Reese helped me bake some Betty Crocker brownies this morning. She mastered the most important thing about baking -- licking the bowl!

Cub Scout

We went to the Mahtomedi High School football game tonight because Jack was part of the pre-game festivities. Jack joined Cub Scouts and all the new members got to stand on the field during the National Anthem. He did a great job -- and looked adorable in his little uniform.

We left after the first quarter to go out to eat and play some games at this fun restaurant called Pinz. Reese LOVED all the games and we left kicking and screaming at 10pm.

Morning Routine

I'm not quite sure how this happened, but Reese has a new morning/breakfast routine. She eats cereal and milk while lounging in her chair watching You Tube on the iPad.

Graham Cracker

A few cute pictures of Reese lounging and enjoying her graham cracker.

Cut Outs

A couple more pictures of the cuties at the Corn Maze.

Sever's Corn Maze

We had a fun day with Brian, Jack, Becky, and Lauren at Sever's Corn Maze in Shakopee. Reese enjoyed looking at lots of animals, bouncing in the jumper (although had a hard time understanding the concept of waiting in line), watching Jack shoot corn with a big gun, and running around. She also enjoyed lots of junk food - including mini donuts and her first icee. She loved the icee and kept asking for "more" even when she was shivering.

Kitty Makeover

Happy 3rd birthday to neighbor Kaija! We had a great time at the party - complete with a Hello Kitty makeover. Meow!

Little Teacher

I caught Reese on camera having fun with some of her toys today. First she lined them all up. Then had the kitty go around and kiss everyone (including herself), complete with smacking lip noises. Finally, she pulled out a book and told them "I read book. Look [at] that Teddy Bear" and showed him a picture. When she got to the end, she said, "The end, guys." What a good little teacher!
