Back-to-School Night

It's back-to-school night!  Reese ran around all night with her friends, and Emmy was so excited to see Miss Becker and see her new classroom!

WOA

This weekend we spent 20 hours in the pool at the Waterpark of America.  We do not know how to do things normally, everything has to be extreme.

Reese built Legos for 11 hours straight today.  That is some incredible focus... or OCD.

Our Anniversary

Some people go out to dinner or give each other gifts on their wedding anniversary, but our tradition is to turn on our wedding reception video and have a dance party with the girls.

Finally Better

Emmy is FINALLY feeling better after 8 days with a high fever (103 and 104).  She was on medicine for a small ear infection, but other than that we could not figure out why she had such a terrible fever.  It's so nice to have our normal Emmy back -- picking tomatoes off her tomato plant and wearing lipstick.

VBS

Fun at VBS.  I had fun channeling my inner elementary school teacher for 4 days, but have no idea how teachers do this for an entire school year.

Reese had fun every day, but poor Emmy was sick all week so could not attend.  Thank goodness Grandma came to the rescue and spent the whole week with us.
