Whisker Whirl

We had a great night at "Whisker Whirl", a fundraiser for the Animal Humane Society.  There were over 600 people there, and about 300 dogs!  Emmy enjoyed it, but Reese was completely in her element.  She walked around during cocktail hour and throughout dinner petting the dogs and getting kisses.  I'm sure she pet at least 200.  As we walked out, people kept commenting to us that they enjoyed watching our girls all night.  It was a memorable night for all!

We attended with our cousins Shawn, Nina and their adorable dog Teddie.

Yikes!  Goat cheese!

The Great Dane at the table next to us, sat on his mom's lap.

Emmy had to look UP to the Great Dane.

Florida Fun

Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for a fantastic Florida vacation.  Not much time to write now, but here are lots and lots of pictures.

First stop: Disney World!  The girls loved our "Art of Animation: Nemo" hotel.

The next morning, it was off to Magic Kingdom.

Breakfast with the Princesses!

Emmy's favorite part of the breakfast was... the food!  She was actually annoyed when a princess would come to our table because she would have to stop eating to take a picture.

Still eating... she wouldn't even put down her waffle during the magic wand ceremony.

The girls loved the rides.  The lines weren't too long, and we had fast passes, so we went on quite a few rides including It's a Small World, The Magic Carpets of Aladdin, Jungle Cruise, Dumbo The the Flying Elephant, and Swiss Family Robinson's Tree House.

We stayed for the Electric Light Parade.  It was so cold that night (in the 40s) that we kept buying blankets and jumping/skipping around to stay warm.

It was definitely a successful day at Disney.  We'll have to go back soon and hit up the other parks.

Next, it was off to Bonita Springs for some sun and relaxation.  Now I see why Grandma and Grandpa are enjoying their condo so much!

We went to G&G's favorite ice cream shop... twice.

The biggest apples I have ever seen.

Pool time!

The  only "fail" of the vacation was missing our dolphin boat cruise due.  Geez, we were there 1.5 hours early!

More beach time in their clothes.

Finally on the last day, we packed correctly and actually wore our swimsuits to the beach.

Now that we're home... I want to go back.
