Reese likes to talk - especially when she first wakes up in the morning and from her naps. She keeps herself entertained for a long time!

Happy Mother's Day

We had a fun Mother's Day weekend. We spent Saturday with the Cipra's at our house for a BBQ and Sunday with the Haag's at the lake. Mommy received a very nice card, picture frame, and flowers for her outside pots.

On Monday, Reese and Mommy went to the nursery to buy more flowers to finish up her pots. Then Reese slept for a few hours (in her crib!) so Mommy could plant the flowers. She is so cooperative!

Long and Lean

Reese looks so long and lean doing tummy time these days. Big difference from when she was a newborn!

New Hat

Reese got a new sun hat, and she actually doesn't mind wearing it! I think she's okay with the hat because she's distracted by the cow that hangs from her car seat. Here are a couple pictures taken just after we returned from a walk yesterday.

3 Months Old

Reese is now 3 months old (technically she was 3 months old yesterday). She now weighs 11 lbs and is over 22 inches long. She's up to lots of new things like smiling (although I can never catch her for a picture), looking at her toys (she especially likes to look at doll and animal faces), and sucking on her pacifier (I never thought I would let my kids take a pacifier, but she loves it).

Kentucky Derby

Reese looked super cute for her first Kentucky Derby! Mommy hosted a neighborhood party and Reese fit right in with her hot pink dress and flower in her hair.

Big Stuff

This picture shows that Reese is really growing up... and she thinks she's big stuff!
