We kicked things off by attending Todd's softball tournament. They enjoyed watching the first inning, then I kept the girls busy with snacks and stamps.
Next we headed to the Hanover Harvest Festival to eat, swing, and get their faces painted.
We convinced them to leave the festival by giving them ice cream sandwiches for the walk back to the car.
Reese and Lauren decided they wanted to sleep together. After a bedtime story from Todd, Lauren fell asleep immediately. Reese, on the other hand, stayed awake for another 2 hours. She told us she had to make her room and bathroom "comfy" for Lauren, so she "decorated". Oh Reese, just go to sleep girl!
The next morning, Lauren helped me cook and let me braid her hair (it was so nice to be able to play with her hair because Reese will barely let me comb her hair).
When Lauren left, Reese told me, "Well, that was fun."
