Tee Ball

Reese is playing tee ball for the first time.  She plays Tuesdays and Thursdays in Rockford.  We have done some hitting in the front yard and she has watched her daddy play softball, but that's pretty much been her exposure to the game.  She's learning a lot and doing a good job!

 She's (sometimes) a determined runner.

We're working on running FAST around the bases.  I told the girls to run like they have fire in their pants.  They thought that was hilarious, but all still jog, gallop, skip, or dance around the bases.  Click here for a video of a typical "run" to 1st base.

Overall, Reese is doing a great job and making some new friends.

Added bonuses to tee ball include playing tag and after-practice time in the park.

Emmy would prefer to be playing tee ball too, but for now she has to eat snacks and play with her friend Ruthie.
