When Daddy called to tell Reese that her new sister arrived, Reese squealed with delight.
Reese came to the hospital tonight to meet her new baby sister. She walked into the room cautiously and her first words were, "That's our baby! She's so cute!" then leaned over and gave her a gentle kiss. It was adorable! Reese was very concerned when Emmy would cry (hence her expression in the last picture in this post).
Reese, Grandma and Grandpa Cipra stayed for about an hour until Reese announced, "I want to go home." She was just a little upset that Mommy and Daddy were not coming home with her, but I think she was so exhausted from her big day that she soon crashed. There will be more big sister duties tomorrow.
